Looking for places in Tidewater area of VA

Location: Williamsburg

I love doing shoots before, during and just after sunset where there is a large body of water and the sun setting behind the model. I never realized how lucky I was by having the eastern shore of Lake Ontario in my back yard until I moved here - here being Williamsburg - 2 years ago.

I've been looking for places to do that in since the move 2 years ago. I've been hearing about First Landing State Park in VaBe and plan on giving it a try this Monday. Anyone shoot there? Anything I should be aware of or tips to offer? I've called the main office to check but would like the inside scoop if possible.

Any other places come to mind? I've heard Jamestown Beach is ok but it's right next to the ferries so there's heavy traffic flow, etc.
