Mike, you can use http://www.betterwhois.com/ to look up the registrar of your domains. If the registrar is still in business, you can then contact them to attempt to get them renewed.

Some years back, I believe Jim was using a registration company that went out of business, and that registrar was subsequently involved in various law suits. My old domain got caught in that mess, and I ended up having to register a different domain name (with a different registrar) to get a site going again.

Before doing so, it's a good idea to check out the registrar. There are a couple of sites that have registrar reviews online. Google "domain registrar reviews" to find them.
