I appreciate your comments. Support for animal rescue, particularly dogs, has been a priority of mine for quite a while now, so I decided to sort of take it to the next level. It's our hope that better quality images of the dogs on North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue's web site will increase their chances for finding a real home again.
This is Nova, a 6-month old Shepherd-Australian Cattle Dog mix. Although people probably can't tell from this photo, Nova is very very shy...but she overcame her shyness for this shot to show off her slim figure and amazing greenish-yellow eyes.
