I agree with you that there is much to be learned from dogs. Loyalty, love, and tolerance for others, just to mention a few.
This is Hailey and Brewster. Hailey is a Black Lab mix, and Brewster is a 2-year old Pit Bull mix with a big goofy grin and funny ears. They live together at the shelter, and are inseparable.
When Brewster arrived at the shelter months ago, he was in such bad shape they didn't know if he would even live through the night. He could barely stand up. They couldn't even bring themselves to photograph him to document his arrival.
But look at him now! He looks as if he could pull my car down the road. That's what love and proper care can do for a dog.
